The guesthouse offers a calm, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The construction of the buildings was completed in 2007, and the landscaping was done the following year, after which the tourist activities began.
Location:
The "Relax" guesthouse is situated at the foot of the Harghita Madaras mountains (15 km from the peak), in the Izvoare valley, far from the main road, directly adjacent to a forest and a small stream, 250 m from the Izvoare stream. Once a hamlet-type settlement, Izvoare has gradually become a holiday destination.
In an 8000 square meter courtyard, there is a complex consisting of a central building and four holiday houses, each house having two separate apartments, as well as other courtyard amenities, a swing, wooden pavilion, and barbecue.
The house does not have permanent staff, allowing for a peaceful vacation not only for your family but also for your favorite dog.
Surroundings:
5 km from the guesthouse is the Zetea dam, spanning an area of 140 hectares, with a volume of approximately 15 million cubic meters of water, situated at 800 meters above sea level. Here you have the opportunity for boating, fishing, swimming, or simply admiring the magnificent landscape.
The county's terrain is mountainous, with Harghita Mountain being one of the most spectacular mountains in the area. Madaras Peak, an inactive volcanic crater, stands at an altitude of 1800 meters. The panorama from the peak is fascinating, offering views of the entire Transylvanian Basin and the Eastern and Southern Carpathians. There are several ski slopes (3.8 km) with chairlifts, and the slopes are maintained with snow machines, with a mountain rescue team on duty throughout the winter.
The guesthouse is located 14 km from the peak, so it can be reached on foot, or you can choose to travel by car or horse-drawn carriage.
Interior:
On the ground floor of the central building of the guesthouse, there is a living-dining room for 30 people, a kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. On the upper floor, there are two separate rooms with bathrooms.
The holiday houses consist of 2 apartments of 70 square meters each, with separate entrances. On their ground floor, there is a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small bathroom. In the living room, there is a fold-out sofa the size of a double bed. The kitchen amenities meet even the most demanding requirements: ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, sink with hot water, toaster, coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, glasses, and other necessary cooking equipment. Upstairs, there is a small hallway with a closet, a spacious room with 2 double beds + TV, and a very comfortable bathroom.
