The guesthouse "Relax" offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for rest. The buildings were completed in 2007, and the land was arranged the following year when the tourist activity began.
Located at the foot of the Harghita Madaras mountains, 15 km away from the peak, the "Relax" guesthouse is situated in the Izvoare valley, far from the main road, surrounded by forests and a small stream, just 250 m away from the Izvoare stream. Izvoare, once a hamlet, is now a pleasant holiday destination.
In a 8000 sqm courtyard, the complex consists of a central building and four holiday houses, each with two separate apartments, accompanied by outdoor facilities such as swings, a wooden pavilion, and a grill.
The house does not have permanent staff, thus offering a peaceful vacation not only for your family but also for your pet.
The surroundings include the Zetea dam, just 5 km away, where various water activities can be practiced. The mountainous area also offers numerous hiking trails, with the Madaras peak providing an amazing panorama of Transylvania and the Carpathians.
The interior of the guesthouse includes a living-dining room, kitchen, and bathrooms on the ground floor, and two separate rooms with a bathroom upstairs. The holiday houses offer comfortable apartments with modern facilities.
For those interested in outdoor activities, the guesthouse offers bicycle rentals, horse-drawn cart or sled rides, as well as the opportunity for horseback riding.
In the area, various tourist attractions can be visited, such as the Zetea dam, the wildlife park, or longer trips to the Bicaz Gorges or Lake Saint Ana.
